The political atmosphere in Edo state today experienced serious upset, balancing and realignment.
Justin Okonoboh, the speaker of the Edo state house of assembly has been sacked from office. He is now referred to as the former speaker.
Consequently, Kabiru Adjoto and Victor Edoro were immediately appointed as new speaker and deputy speaker respectively.

It would be recalled that Edoro was also removed as speaker of the same house in May 2016. He just made a return to the leadership, only this time as the number two man.
