A 27-year-old man was on Tuesday arraigned before a Magistrates’ court for allegedly sleeping with his neighbour’s wife, after disguising himself as her husband. Just imagine.
According to Zim News, the accused was charged with r*pe when he appeared before the Magistrate.
The Zimbabwea court heard that Sibanda tiptoed from his bedroom while undressed in the ‘wee hours’ and got into the woman’s blankets while the light was off and started care-ssing her.
Unfortunately, the woman responded to him, thinking it was her husband till he penetrated her before she realised that it wasn’t him.
The prosecutor, Timothy Makoni, said, “On October 22 at around 3am, Sibanda who knew that the
victim’s husband had not returned home, tip-toed into her bedroom while n*ked.
“Sibanda quickly opened the door and saw the victim sleeping on the bed. He allegedly crept into her blankets and started touching the woman who then responded thinking it was her husband.
“The accused became intimate with the woman and at that moment she discovered that it was not her husband. She pushed Sibanda away, jumped from the bed and rushed to switch on the light.
“The victim was shocked to see her co-tenant’s husband undressed in her bed and screamed for help. She fought with Sibanda and slapped him twice in the face, but all he could do was to ask for forgiveness.
“He then rushed back to his bedroom as the victim kept on screaming for help, alerting neighbours.
“The court further heard that people then gathered at the house and questioned Sibanda why he had committed the offence and he kept on apologising. The victim, with the help of neighbours, went to the police station and reported Sibanda.”

A devoted Muslim, Prof. Rasheed Jimoh-Ijaodola, has bagged a doctorate degree in Christian studies at the University of Ilorin.
Jimoh-Ijaodola is Professor of Law and Dean, Oba Erediauwa college of Law of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State.
A statement by Head, Public & External Relations Unit, Office of the VC, Mr. Obajide Ilugbo, made this known, in Benin-City, on Tuesday.

Jimoh-Ijaodola, according to him, is a faithful and practicing Muslim, who bagged his first Ph.D. In Electoral Law from the University of Jos, while his second Ph.D. was in Property law from the University of Ibadan.
According to NAN, in the third Ph.D Thesis, he posited “the end is now and that humans should be careful so that the end will not come upon us as the biblical thief that came unexpectedly.
“He pleaded that the world should embrace peace and live in harmony for the sake of the earth and humanity. Nations should be careful of war and proliferation of weapon of mass destruction”, he said.
Ilugbo said that Jimoh-Ijaodola in his thesis stressed the need to take care of “our environment” very well so that it was not endangered.
“The end time scenario is a picture of man eating man and that the problem will most likely start on the claim on ownership of Jerusalem.”
He quoted Jimoh-Ijaodola as saying that the earth was throttling fast toward a certain end and that the survival of the earth depends on mans will to embrace God totally.

The new SGF, Boss Mustapha was far away in Lagos, on Monday 30th of October, with his erstwhile ministerial boss, Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister for Transportation whom he had worked under as Deputy Director General, APC Presidential Campaign Organization and was later appointed MD of the National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA.
Both men were in Lagos for a program on Maritime. It was in that program that Amaechi broke the news to Mr Boss Mustapha. He said;
“Congratulations, Boss, you are now my boss.” The man replied, “Sir, I don’t understand. How do you mean? And Amaechi said, “You have been appointed the Secretary to the Federal Government.”
