Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, is a sad man at the moment as tragedy befalls his chief of staff, Mr. Chijioke Nwakodo, in far away London.
56yrs old Nwakodo died in a London hospital on Thursday evening.
His younger brother, Obidike Nwakodo, confirmed the development to NAN today in Umuahia.
Nwakodo further said the news of his death was communicated to the family late Thursday.
He said that arrangements were on to formally convey the message of his death to the governor.
Nwakodo, a father of two, was appointed Chief of Staff to the governor on June 3, 2015. He is a politician and businessman. May his soul RIP!
