The officials of the joint admissions and matriculation board has made their stands clear that the lingering strike of the non-academic staff of the universities may stop the board from conducting the UTME exam.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin made this clear to the newsmen that the non-academic staff that the government have abandoned are one of the key stake holders in the unified tertairy matriculaton examination and he also warned the if nothing is done fast thegovernment should forget about this year JAMB examination.
He also stated that the non-academic staff of the universities are the most critical stakeholders of the UTME and that if nothing is done between now and monday 26th February 2018 which the mock exam would hold their absence will be greatly felt.
The National association of academic technologist(NAAT),Senior Staff association of Nigerian Universities,Non academic staff union of educational associated institution. Have been on strike since December 2017.
