“I got a call from the late governor’s son, Umar, this evening (yesterday), that Baba Doma died in an Israeli hospital at about 7:45 p.m. Nigerian time,” he said.
Also confirming the news to the death of the erstwhile governor, his son, Umar, said his father died in Tel-Avivi at about 8p.m yesterday.
His words: “My father died in Tel-Avivi, the capital of Israel at about 8pm in the evening.”
The late Aliyu governed Nasarawa State between 2007 to 2011 when he was defeated by incumbent Governor Umaru Al-Makura.
